• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Hi everyone,
New member with a 2003 SSEi. Bought the car from a friend with a rod knock. He had the intake manifolds replaced, but by then the damage had already been done to the bottom end. Total trip would be about 200 miles home and about the 1/2 way mark the motor froze up. Ended up breaking the #2 con rod cap. I bought a donor motor and used the bottom end from that and used the original top end. I took the old engine apart back in September and tonight just got the engine back in.

I have a question regarding a motor piece, but will post that in topic area.
