Hello
I’ve got a matching numbers 69 ss 396 camaro
I bought my son a 68 cutlass s convertible when he was 14 and he killed it by backing into a tree at 16
That was 15 years ago and been jonesin for a convertible since then
Sort of looking for another 68 olds but I do like the big pontiacs
Been looking at 64 Catalina, I like the tail lights, but I also like up to about a 67 cat or Bonneville
I also like the 67 Grand Prix
One year only might put it at a premium
I know the later models might be a better choice with the bigger engine and a th400
But I like them all
Would prefer an auto with air or maybe go w vintage air later
Live in Mississippi and it gets hot here
This post is not so much fishing for cars for sale although I do welcome that but to get owners and people in the know on theses cars to weigh it on what they think
Not looking for a project and my budget is modest so I can’t afford a $50k show car
Let me know what you think and glad to be a new member

One thing that does worry me is I can build my Camaro from a catalog if needed
It seems parts are much harder to find for these a body cars

B body Pontiac's have vendors supplying parts, amesperf.com, and opgi.com as examples

Good Luck in your search, you should be able to find a nice example of a Pontiac B-Body Convertible for under $25,000. As long as you are not looking for a 421 SD, or 421 Tri Power car.

As for parts availability, yes it will not be as easy to find parts for as a Camaro, Firebird, or GTO. But that is the price you pay for having something that is not as common as the other cars. Harder but usually not impossible to find.
