• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Hello, fellow Pontiac enthusiasts.I'm a recently retired fireman(39 years)and now wanting to get back into old cars.I just bought a '51 Pontiac Chieftain four-door sedan with the straight 8 engine. It's a two tone green, dark over light, complete car, very straight with very little rust. The only thing I can find missing is the trim piece on the right quarter panel. The car hasn't run in 15 years but the previous owner said it was running when he put it in storage.

I'm new to Pontiacs,so I'll be asking where to find parts and accessories for this car.Any advice or information will be greatly appreciated.

I forgot to mention the car has the hydramatic transmission.

welcome to the forum and good luck with your new Pontiac
