• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... ...at least I'm pretty sure of it. I drove past a house about 4 doors down and that's just been bought, and what do I see in the drive? A fourth-generation Corvette - I think about '74-76...and a second-generation Camaro that looks mint. Chevy's, yes, but still sweet to look at.

Haven't talked to the guy yet but I hope to soon. More as I find it out.:)

I think it's third

I'm not positive since I'm not really into Chevrolets either, but I believe that era of Corvette is the third generation. first=53-62, second=63-67, third=68-82, skipped 83, fourth 84-etc. It's good to have fellow enthusiasts around. Even if they don't favor the same brand, it's good to have help to pull an engine or bleed brakes. I just buddied up with a Ford guy who has a hydraulic lift in his home garage. He has a full set and then some of Snap-On tools, air compressor, sand blaster, paint and body tools, and all the extra Ford parts I'll never need. Although I have been thinking about putting a small block in this Volvo. The cool thing is, he has no interest in any of my old Pontiac parts.

 C3, C4...I'm not into Corvettes so I really don't know which generation is which. I do know where a first generation one is sitting gathering dust - outside parked up near a wall - in the town south of us.

It's always good when there's no competition for parts...though since we both have second-gen F-bodies, you never know.
