• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Hey guys. Been a huge fan of pontiacs my whole life. Owned a 2000 trans am as my first car... had to sell because the car payments left me broke every month.... luckily I've been doing well and was recently able to purchase a 2000 gtp for cash. The thing is mint. Fast as hell and was a one owner car. I guess the main thing I want to know is what are the main things to do to maintain the supercharger? My mechanic knows nothing much about it... where could I take it? I never knew much about cars and I want to keep this thing nice and make some good additions to the engine as well as the body. Any suggestions?? Also there is some surface rust on the wheel wells. It's the only rust on the car. How could I take care of this? Anyway I'm proud to be an owner of a pontiac again! Thanks!

Change the supercharge oil every 30K miles. Assuming the area of the wheel wells is not normally visible, sand it and apply primer.
