Hey all...

Just a quick post to say hi. My wife and I picked up an 02 Montana with Versatrak and the Thunder Package. 133,000 miles, interior like new, for $3,995!

Loving it so far...the Versatrak got us through winter flawlessly with the previous owner's supplied studded snows here in Spokane, WA.

I've had to fix a few issues...we were out $800 for the AC condenser, and everything else I've fixed myself, from fuses, to light bulbs, etc.

Right now I've got a case of the drones in the rear end...time to buck up for $100 worth of liquid gold from GM.

Anyway all, here is to Pontiac ownership!

Sam

welcome to the forum

welcome also
I have found that "gmpartsdirect.com" is one of the cheapest oem parts out there ,the only down side is waiting for them. Always wondered if the thunder package had any more get up and go power? and what is the case of the drones ? rear end fluid ? also I think you got a great price ,studded snow tires ~$300-400 good find.

also lets see some pics of that thunder

Hey I just picked up a 2005 Montana AWD, also with a case of the drones in the back. Whats the process for draining and filling the rear diff? I noticed that it seems to be closer to the center of the van. Haven't had it up on a jack yet, just got it yesterday.

Hey steelcity,
the thunder has no more power than the regular montanas....it was just an appearance package.
My thunder has the same 3.4L that every other montana has.
