New trick

Hi all,

So my wifes car has a new trick. She says the low coolant light comes on. I checked the coolant and its full to the mark, also the car never gets over 195 deg. And one more check showed coolant flow because the heater blows hot air. I also scanned for codes and found no codes.

Sooooo why is the light coming on and making my wife worry?

Had similar problem it was the ECT sensor, 30 bucks for a new one easy to replace, 'cept you have to drain the coolant level down

Wife said the light went away after she filled the windshield washer fluid....

Just to make sure is there a light for low washer fluid?

NO, better check this out yourself incase she poured windshield washer fluid in the engine coolant bottle.

It might have a washer fluid low light. Check the owners manual to see.
