no or weak reverse

HI i am gettin back on the project after a few years of rest but went and fired the car up earlier this year after sitting a few and to move is and no reverse was working fine when i parked it its a th350 3 speed behind a 400 cid and suggestions before i pull it out and send it to DR.AAMCO would be awesome

Have you checked the fluid level? If fine pull the pan and filter and replace. If it still doesnt work, time to pull the trani.

check the fluid levels, change your filter, let it run a while to build up pressure while doing that put it in and out of gear... eventially it will need to be worked by some professionals... that is just my opinion, i am not a professional...

Put some lucas in it after changing filter fluid.... while up in the air put in in drive and then reverse with foot on the brake......Let the fluid and the Lucas work its way through.....If that is not the answer probably needs rebuilt bad band in it....
