• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Often one sees ads for classic cars indicating that the car is numbers matching. It is not clear to me what that exactly means. Does it refer to a code on the engine and transmission that matches a part of the VIN that was coordinated at assembly time ?? Thanks for any info.

All numbers matching....

That is what it means. There are numbers stamped through out the car...they all match. IT also makes a classic or antique worth more. I have one of those. Mine is a 1971 Lemans.
