Odometer turned off......

My odometer on my 03' is digital...and is no longer displaying my mileage...everything else on the interior is working properly...is there a fuse that controls the odometer or has something more serious gone wrong?

Unfortunately there isn't an odometer light bulb to change for the Sunfire's odometer. You need to remove the entire instrument cluster and have the odometer light circuitry repaired or the replace the cluster with a refurb. Replacing/repairing the cluster is not cheap! (approx. $500)

wow!!! i just got a 99 sunfire gt today and the odometer was acting funky. it seems to be ok now, but at least now i know i need to start saving up some cash to get it repaired if it ever goes bad again.

I have a friend on another forum who got quoted $900+ for a Bonneville instrument cluster. It's expensive and a pain to replace. Go to a junk yard with a battery jump pack for power and find one with all the gauges working. For the bother, personally I wouldnt care about the odometer if the trip odemeter still works.
