Noticed a few weeks ago an oil leak at the passenger side of the engine where the power steering pump is located. Now it's at a point where its leaving a couple of drops on the ground after I've been driving it and this weekend especially because I did an 800 mi trip back and forth. And now i'ts got me almost paranoid where every pit stop I was making I would look under the hood and see at what stage the leaking issue was at and looking underneath the front end of the car to check how much oil was dripping down. When I checked the oil level, I noticed it has dropped about 1/4 of a pint. I tried to pin point the leak and noticed the cam shaft sensor was practically bathing in oil. So I figured it's either that or the lower intake gasket. I know that these engines have major issues whit gaskets but has anyone ever seen an issue involving the cam shaft sensor leaking on the 3400 V6?

Thanks in advance for your feedbacks everyone.

wash off the area with simple green or a product of your choice and pinpoint the source. It could be the sensor. The lower intake usually is coolant related leaks.

Thanks guys,:) I'll get into that. The big test will be in about a week when I do another 800 mile run. Till then, I'll be doing mostly city driving.
