Hello all, I recently bought an '86 Fiero SE V6 with 85,800 miles on it.
My username was setup before I ran a VIN, so the person I bought it from had thought it was an '85. Hence, the username. (not shure if i can get it changed) Anyway, I owned a '84 2M4 in 1990 for about a year during my last year of HS. I sold it before going to college that year, and really regretted it. I had not come across any Fieros over the years worth buying because most had 150,000-200,000 miles on them and were trashed. This '86 had been sitting in a garage in northern Michigan and found its way in the last 2 years into Central Indiana after trades from dealerships and ended up at a wholesale lot. Its next destination was going to be a junk yard according to the lot owner, because he saw no market for the car and it was the worst car he had on the lot. I had a '91 Toyota Tercel and jokingly asked him if he would trade even. He made the deal.
This car is going to be a project, but I hope to find help and information from you all in this forum to help me restore this rare car back to close to original condition.
