Old (?) Pontiac clock

My dad got this from his mother, who said she found it at a garage sale. My dad is a big Pontiac guy. trying to find some more information on it for him, like how old it is.
its got blue neon around the edge as you can see in the picture. the plug looks pretty old as well. i can post pictures of the insides too if you guys want.





 
dont think anybody will give you an answer based on those pictures. If you open the back and see what kind of movement is driving the clock it would give you a better indication.
