Hello again as usual thanks to all of you for your help .98 sunfire 2.2 Howe do i tell if I have over drive or not my shifter reads d 3 2 1 not shire I’m thinking not thanks

D is overdrive, 4th speed
You probably have a lockup torque converter

3 speeds with lockup convertor transmissons (TH125C) left the GM JBody lineup after 1994, 1995 and up had 4 speed automatics with electric lock up convertors.(4T40-E)
