Overheating

I have a 2008 Pontiac Torrent and it keeps overheating I replaced the heater core,thermostat,waterpump had the coolant flushed and it still overheats. It has no heat but when I rev the motor it starts to heat up also when the temps start to rise the fans comes on and when I rev it the temps drop. So any suggestions on what I need to do to fix this thanks Don

Did you do a cooling system pressure test?
Did you do a cooling system hydrocarbon test?
Did you check if your engine needs a specific routine to bleed the air out of the system?

Sounds like air is trapped in the system, make sure the overflow tank hose is not clogged and check your cap.
