Hello all. im new on here. i have an 07 G6 but im here to ask help for my mother. she has an 03' Aztek and is pulling the two codes P0135 and P0453. her gas gauge is working and hasn't been faulty at all. and she never fills all the way up until the gas nozzle clicks. also she thinks it feels like her tranny may be slipping as well. i haven't rode with her to feel it but shes pretty knowledgeable on vehicles from helping my dad work on all ours through the years. i very much appreciate any help and sorry if this is beating a dead horse but ive been searching and just need a clear answer. if maybe one causes the other or what the issue may be.

Thanks,
J Dog

the o2 sensor one i got and found what to do. the one that is a little more confusing is the P0453. i read quite a few different threads on this but it seems to have multiple problems that could be associated. just wasnt sure if one of them were more common in the aztek platform

I looked up the codes and have you ever changed the upstream(by exhaust manifold) and the downstream(by the catalytic converter) sensors? That is the code p0135 is throwing, they are preheated units and normally last 100k miles. I got 135k out of mine before the OBD lit up that code. The other is the evap sensor located right in front of the EGR valve atop the intake manifold by the throttle body. That is for code p0453, check out youtube for this info.
