P0141 Heater Circuit

Check engine light came on so I hooked up a OBD2 scanner and it pulled a code of "P0141 o2 Heater Circuit (Bank 1, Sensor 2)". So this means that the 2nd o2 sensor thats after the catalytic converter needs to be changed, right?

Also, how many o2/oxygen sensor does the 1996 Pontiac Sunfire SE have? I looked in my Chiltons manual and it only shows me how to replace the one that goes into the exhaust manifold.

Bank 1 sensor2 is downstream from the cat. If it's a 4cylinder then you have 2 sensors

Ok thank you. So if it says "after catalytic converter" in the description of the sensor then that is the downstream sensor, right?
