2009 pontiac G8 GT 6.0L . I have replaced the oil sensor and screen with OEM parts and changed the oil and filter. I use 5w30 amsoil full synthetic extended life 12000 mile and change the oil filter every 3000-3500 miles and the oil every 7000 miles. The sensor and screen were replaced at 97311 miles and now I have 99795 on it and the check engine light comes and then goes out without any type of a pattern. I would like to put a mechanical type of oil gauge but do not know where to plumb it into. Any ideas or help appreciated.
