P0705 transmission range sensor

Hi all,i have 2006 pontiac pursuit and i have p0705 and p0700 codes, i want to replace transmission range sensor but I can't figure out how and from where it will be easier, i can't find any video online or any explanation how to do that, please anyone help me. ( Also i belive because of this codes my cruise control is not working now and auto door looks same)

Have you actually located it on the outside of the case?

Yes i can see it on the top of the transmission, but i can't easily get to it thats why im asking

You cannt get to it because something is in the way or you don't have a long extension or other tools?

Yes i have extension and tools it just so many cables hoses around its not convenient, i was thinking to remove fuze box somehow and then probably will have more room to work

Make sure your first step is to disconnect battery
