Hi everyone:
I'm new to Fiero(s) heck I just had to teach my computer that Fiero is properly spelled. Before I go any further I want you to know I am trying to educate myself in the ways of Fiero, and I have tried to search the forum for the questions I have. So if there is a thread that answers these questions please show me the way.

Anyway I'm not new to playing with and restoring cars. As I'm trying to do my homework the big one that keeps coming up for me that there is a lot of look alike parts, and with the short production run GM didn't change much until 1988. So here is the heart of my question, say someone (me) bought a '86 notch back and wanted to turn it into a GT look alike can that be done? I have gotten the factory manual but and it looks do able, but someone here will know for sure. Then the rear suspension sub frame from an '88 bolt into that imaginary '86? Was the chassis/suspension changes to the '88 transferable to the '86.

Some of you are now saying..."Just buy a finished '88 GT" and hush! What I'm looking for is a fun challenge, making a bunch of Fiero parts into a Rick project. So tired and used is my plan.

Thank you:

Thank you!

Thank you for the body switch out site...that make sense of the puzzle, and shows it's do-able. Now how about the suspension? It looks to me as if the rear engine/transmission/suspension cradle might bolt in the same place/holes/etc. Is that a correct assumption, how about the front? You have another magic website. I can't seem to find just the correct combination of word to find the help.

Thank you again:
