piston rings

hi guys back again another question i stripped car to be painted and airbrushed and dicided to do big ends on engine then it streched to timing chain then now its all stripped to bare block i have most sizes for big ends and chain now im looking for size of piston rings. i have a 1997 trans am with a 301 4.9 nat asperated on inspection of all pistons all i can find on 2 of the pistons is one has a S stampped into it and the other has a T stammped into it i thought i might of found a D but no so my question is ST must still stand for standard?

Those are Stock pistons , otherwise they would be stamped .020, .030 , .060.......etc if they were oversize.

You aren't having a machine shop check the block? Did you measure the bores with a micrometer?

yes i measured them tonight and came up with 10.441 m gonna double check that tomorrow
