pleas help! transmission pproblem

Ok I just bought a 86 2m6 for 200 dollars it looked great and start good......there is a problem with the transmission that I have never seen before....it is stuck in 4th I can move the shifter to any position freely but it wont change the gears...even if I unhook the shift cables and try to move the actual ...um...pieces that come out of the transmission haha they just move freely no shift....any opinions??????

Broken shift fork in transmission.
Get another transmission or have that one rebuilt.

Any idea on where I might find a mother transmission......and while I'm at it I need seats and a dash...sorry for all the questions but I'm a complete noob
