Please Help! No Crank No Start

Please Help! I have a 2009 pontiac torrent. My key broke off in the ignition so I took the chip out of my key and put it in beside my ignition because I had a spare that didn't have the chip... then while someone was running wire for my backup camera they didn't know it was there and it's lost now my car won't start. I don't have the money to go to the dealership or call a locksmith can anyone please help me. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you can get the old key out of the ignition, you can get a new key with a new chip in it here and they give instructions how to program it yourself after you get it cut...at like a Home Depot or Hardware store....

I've got 2x 2009 and 1x 2006, and none of them have transponders, I went to dealership to buy a blank, and those didn't have transponders.
