Pontiac firebird 350 2bbl to 4bbl conversion worth it?

Hey guys, I have a restored 1973 formula 350 pretty much stock. It comes with the stock 2bbl which runs perfect and very strong. My question: Would it be worth the time or would I gain much by simply doing a 4BBL swap without any other modifications other than the intake and carburetor? Would I gain any considerable/additional HP or will I be wasting my time without doing a whole bunch of other modifications to the heads,cam,distributor etc.etc.etc. What do you guys think? Worth it??? or leave it alone?

I would go for it, a modern intake with a correctly matched carburetor will give you a noticeable improvement. After that if you dont already have it hook up a dual exhaust and have the distributer recurved.
