pontiac G5 or G6?

i am planning on buying my first car soon. i have to pay for it with my own money, i have around $6,000 saved up so far (i know thats not too much, but im currently working tow jobs so that i can get a lot of money within the next few months for it) i was just wondering if there are any significant differneces between the pontiac G5 adn the G6. i see the G6 everywhere and i am in absolute love with it. i havn't seen the G5 around too much, but on the pontiac website it looks pretty similar.
oh and also, im looking to buy this used, not new. i realize i would have to save up for like 3 more years at least to begin to even think about buying a new car hah.

the difference in in the # of horses the g6 about 50 more than the g5 i would go with the g6 for the extra power but the g5 with less power has better mileage also if money i tight try riding a motorbike they have lower insuerance and overall cost and some have 65 mpg

g5 its cheaper it looks nicer the g6 is more expensive and the g5 has good gas millage and its your first car it would be perfect go with the g5

The difference between the two is that
the G5:
you know those Chevy Colbats you see everyone driving, well it's the cousin of that. Looks exaclty the same and the engine as well. Another thing is taht the G5 uses less gas.

G6 is bigger than the G5
G6 i believe is a bit more than the G5, but i looked at the inside of the G6 and the interior is pretty sexy (to a guy anyways, hah) It looks more than its worth when i was looking at a used one.

I would recommend the G6 than the G5 because G6 uses more gas than the G5 only by a little, but you would hardly know the difference if youy were to actually use them. the G6 is more safer and has more horsepower and plus it looks way better inside and out than the G5.
