Hi all,
My wife's Montana has recently begun to have a strong fuel smell inside the cabin, which is mainly in the mornings when she first starts the car. It's beginning to be a real problem and I was hoping that someone here might have an answer.

I thought at first that it was probably a clogged fuel filter, but it's now my understanding that the filter is inside the gas tank.

Thanks in advance

you appear to have a fuel leak somewhere, clogged filters dont cause that. trace the fuel line from the tank to the engine and look for the leak.
