This is new in the box and fits 1959 to 1960 Pontiac All Models. This is for one tie rod end left or right outer.I am in Charles City Va and am selling this for 15.00.

sorry to say but 1959 to 1960 pontiac all dont have the same tierods.

i no this because i replaced tierods on a 1960 pontiac gto and that is not the same tierod.

parts

There is no such thing as a Pontiac GTO in 1960 and if anyone is interested in this I can check the application to make sure.

my father has been a GM & ford mechanic for 30 years, even he says a 1959 to 1960 outer tie rod is not the same on all pontiacs

take 1960 bonneville for example, bonneville tierods are longer then that, and i no this for a fact because my friends father owns a 1960 bonneville and that is not the same tierod

and all pontiac models/years have different part number's so i would suggest u post the part number so people can see if it matches there exact number so they can possible buy it from u.

as for GTO,,,, gto was being produced by the end of 1960 but did not hit the market's until 1961, so therefore pontiac GTO was made in 1960 u can even look on the door of some 1961 gto's and it will clearly state made in 1960

just like some other pontiac take grand prix for example u can buy a 2000 grand prix but it will clearly state on the door of some 2000 grand prix's "1999"

for example, its 2012 but there is 2013 GM car's out there already and if u look at the door of them 2013 car's it will say it was made in 2012

Tie Rod End

I go by the book and as we all know the books are wrong at times thats why in my last post tell me what you have and I will check your application. The book says 1959 to 1960 All but I know thats not always right but I appreciate your input but I sure would like a link to see this 61 GTO cause I have the first one made 1964.They made Bonnevilles and Venturas then and so forth but I wanna see one of these.
Thanks

Gto

actually it was not a Tempest it was a Lemans with the GTO package to be totally correct.I know this because I have one and also have a 64 Lemans that am parting out so I know these well. Thanks for all the info.

If the doubters concerning the advertised tie rod would spend 2 minutes or less googling the ES268R they would discover it is the correct end for 59/60. In addition if anybody can prove there was a GTO prior to model year 1964 they should immediately buy it because it would be worth millions!

Gto

Thanks very well said
