Pontiac Question: How much will the Pontiac G6 and G8 Drop in 3 years?

All new cars depreciate at a rate of approx 10%-12% a year for the first 3 years. After that it begins to taper off slightly.

If the G8 is the GT or the GXP high performance models those will depreciate less because they are desirable models and should maintain their value much better.

Typically, after 5 years, a vehicle is worth a little under 50% of what it was worth, new.
It may be a little higher on the Pontiacs since they don't make them anymore and these will not be collector vehicles.
The G8 might, but it will be a long time.
