i have a 2.2 potniac sunfire SE what kind of engine
V-tech
SOHC
DOHC
Not aplicable

Its either SOHC or DOHC... It depends espcially on the year. IF you told me the year of car and vin number, i could tell you. But there should also be a white sticker next to the engine that will say. It usually looks just like the sticker that has the belt diagram on it.

the majority of GM engines are clearly maked on valve covers or air cleaner or on the engine tag itself. if you can find it go to carfax with your vin number and it'll show there or give it to your "freindly neighborhood dealer".
