Pontiac sunfire not running

right.? Hi i have a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire and it has 70,000 miles. The engine is a 2.2 and a few days ago it has been running a little rough. The plugs and wires are good. When i accelerate the engine acts like it is maybe missing and doesn't have quiet the power. The check engine light came on and the Trac Off light goes on and off. Also the engine runs 500 rpms faster than usual at 60 mph. I reset the computer but it does the same after i run it. Sometimes the engine doesn't even idal right. Also i've noticed that the gas pedal shakes a bit going down the road like the engine isn't running right. Does anyone know whats wrong?
 
Theres several things it could be. I would first check my fuel filter, and ignition coils. Are you sure the spark plugs are gappped properly? Off the top of my head without actually looking at the vehicle thats about all I can suggest.

Repair all engine compartment vacuum lines that are cracked.Put Dielectric grease on the spark plug insulators to eliminate spark tracking at the plugs.
