i bought my wife a 2006 pontiac torent and here just recently i think my alternator is going out cause my batterie is completely dead and it wont even jump start is there any kind of test i can preform on the alt. with out removing it and how would i do it im not really mechanicaly inclined

you need to have a running engine and volt/amp meter to check the alternator output
