Pontiac Transmission code help

I've got a transmission with a code I can't find anywhere, its 73-P2C-3753. Does anyone recognize this code and have any info on it?
 
Is this a rear wheel drive transmission or a front wheel drive transmission and what kind of car is it in?
 
I was told its a TH400. From other similar codes it was manufactured in 1973. Problem is that the P2C doesn't match anything I can find.

Its an automatic transmission going into a 1968 Firebird rwd.
 
I am. This transmission was in a '68 Fire bird previously. I know its a Pontiac because of the "P". The problem is that the codes I'm finding are all 2 letter codes like "PC" for 1973. I can't find any information on one with a numeral in between the letters.
