hi i just got a 99 montana p/o said head gaskets had been done but were leaking again. I have been driving this for 2 days with no antifreeze loss al of a sudden yesterday the engine starts to heat up when parked idling while moving the temp is fine. We looked in the rad and there are intermitten bubbles when after i rev the engine but not always. I'm stummped is this a head gasket or an air lock?

You can check all the previous posts there is a lot of discussion about head gaskets ,I think the first step is a pressure test and that may have to be over night for a complete test . Keep us posted .

You can also check for hydrocarbons in the antifreeze. That would indicate a head gasket leak.
k thanks for the quick replies i'm going to change out the water pump today and see if that cures it it almost seems that once the motor is warm i get little to no circulation at an idle

Check your fans, If its heating up just idling and cools when you drive then more then likely its not your head gasket.
