Power locks in warm weather

I have a 2008 Torrent that has power lock problems in warm weather. They work fine when it is cool. When it is warm out, they will not lock or unlock properly. You can hear the motor try to lock or unlock, butit seems like the actuator will not move enough. This effects all doors.
When the car is out of the sun and cooler, they work.
Any ideas what could be causing this. Thanks

The actuators are 16 years old and could be starting to fail. Open up a door panel when warm and check using a multimeter if they are getting sufficient power to work.

Also check for dirt and cleanliness, some spray on dry lubrication may help for the short term also. (one the actuator plungers.
