power steering just stopped working

Hi everyone, new here.....
I have a 1999 sunfire 2.4 auto, the other day made a hard turn in a parking lot and the power steering just stopped working.
The pump is direct on the motor so no belt, the fluid level is up, and no leaks.
Before that steering just fine, easy both ways, no pump noises.
Thinking it is the pump packed it in? not the rack?
anyone have any ideas

Pressure test the high side of the pump to see if it is working.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking too, time to get the pressure checked....
