power steering sqeaking

Hi

I have a 2001 Sunfire .
when the car is started there is a squeaking noise
when the motor warms up the squeaking goes away
until the next time I start the car .

I think it sounds like the power steering pulley or bearing
but I am not sure .

hope some can help me with this problem

take a length of rubber hose, hold one end near your ear and move the hose around the various engine components to determine the source of the noise.

thank you for answering me
I have done what you asked me to do ,
it sounds like my power steering pulley is squeaking,
I also tried the old water trick put water on the belt and power steering pulley
it stopped right away .

what would you think the problem could be .

the belt could be bad. Any idea how old it is? Does it show any signs of cracking?
