Power surge and stalls

My 2008 GP GXP. When sitting at a light at idle, the car seems to have a power surge or something then cuts off. The radio gets loud for a second or two then the the engine cuts off. So subtle you dont know. Put in neutral and cranks right back up. Anybody have this experience or insight as to what would cause this.

No engine light. Battery about a year old. Checked the connections and the body ground

have you had the ecm scanned for codes in history?

I have a scanner. Haven't thought to try that since no engine light or faults showing on the driver information display.
Let you know after I try that

Starter or alternator internally shorting out?
I had that happen before...
