Production numbers?

I'll check my books but GM didnt keep good records on breakdowns if a motor was in this car or that.

You may have to bend over and pay for a Pontiac Historical Search .

If they can even do it. PHS Automotive Services, Inc.

Hi, I was just browsing and found this post from 2013 and I was confused. Someone wrote that Pontiac only made turbo sunbirds 84,85,86
I have a 1988 Sunbird GT 5 speed convertible loaded with all options so you can see why I’m confused. And production numbers available for 1988?
Thank you
Bill

If your Car was made in Canada, they keep all the GM records .:)

You just need the Vin # The 11th digit is the plant :1 or 2 is a Canadian built car. Letters are US built cars.

Hi, even more confused. My 11 th alpha numeric character is 7 !?!?!?

11th is the plant, First digit is the country built.
7 is Lordstown , Ohio or Mexico... Assembly Plants.
