purchase help ?

Hey guys I need some help, this weekend im going to look at a 1966 Lemans that is for sale for $9,500. The owner says it has some rust under the rear window and on the rear pillars under a vinyal top. The owner said it leaks when it runs he thinks its one of the main seals. The rest of the car from the photos he send me seems great the inside, under the car, and most of the body.

I was just wanting to know some of the common problems I should look for and is the price he wants in the range for unrestored 1966 Lemans ?

try www.nada.com, consumer/classic cars, you dont mention if the car has the 6 cylinder or 8 cylinder engine or any other options but the price sounds high considering the amount you will have to throw into it.

Its a 326 v8 with a 2 speed auto. The price seem kinda high to me too but I cant really find one on the internet thats same cheaper. Im going to try to talk him down if I think its worth buying when I see it.
