Ok so i have a 2000 pontiac grand am v6 with about 123,000 miles on it. well about 3 months ago i noticed it was having trouble going up hills. Every time i hit a hill (like a medium sized hill, not big or little), my RPM's will NOT hit above 2000 rpms. it will kind of chug back and forth from 1800-2000 rpms, in order for it to actually move faster up the hill and get past the point that it chugs...i have to let off the gas and slam on the gas...then it will go. i have no idea what is wrong but its driving me absolutely insane! someone please help me.
