Hey all, I am in radiator hell. I need a radiator for my 67 Catalina, 400ci, non air cond. I got one that was supposed to be stock replacement BUT, it is too big. I measured the width and height of the original core and it measures 26 3/4 X 18 3/4 All the ones I seem to find are all 28 1/4. Its too big. I would have to cut a lot of metal to make this fit. Anyone know where I can get the RIGHT fit without paying 400 bucks or more?????

Here is what Summit Racing lists, they have radiators smaller than 28.25 but not your exact number, might want to remeasure to be sure.
You have no shops in your area that can make a custom size core?

Yes, there is a few around but, they are almost as expensive as getting one from the few places I found that had my size. I measured it a few times. Seems to be an odd ball I guess. The radiator is doing its job for now. My biggest issue is the carb. I got a rebuilt one from a parts store and it is junk. Will run good for a few days then goes to crap. I have rebuilt it 3 times now because the warranty is out. Can I put any other 2 barrel on this or does it HAVE to be a rochester??

what is the ethanol percentage in you gasoline?
what happened to the original carburetor?
what is the issue with the current carburetor?
you are sure the issue is carburetor related and not ignition related?
