Hi, I purchased a new oem style 4 row radiator for my Lemans back in August last year, as it still had the original in it and it was far from fixable. The radiator I bought recently began leaking so we got a replacement for it, now this one is leaking! I don't know if I'm just buying bad radiators or I have a bigger issue. Anyone? Also, any reviews on aluminum radiators?

Both are leaking from near the bottom on the side the filler cap is on, it's hard to pinpoint but it's definitely not coming from any lines.

what brand radiators are you using and where were they built, china? are you using coolant compatible with aluminum? are you using a radiator cap that is designed for your aluminum radiator? as an example, corvettes from the 60/70's with an aluminum expansion tank used a special cap to prevent an electrolysis reaction between the aluminum and other metals. what pressure cap are you using?

sorry about the aluminum misunderstanding, have you pressure tested the cap to see if it is holding too much pressure? are you buying them from a established Pontiac parts distributor that would weed out inferior products to avoid the returns, such as ames or performanceyears?

They both have come from autozone, which is most likely my problem, I'm currently looking at NPD products because I am just a few minutes away from the North Carolina location, would you recommend aluminum or regular oem?

if you go aluminum, which does cool better, see if Dewitts has your application, they make them here and stand behind their product.
