I am looking to buy a 99 Montana. It has a stock radio with cassette. I was looking around and seen that a stock radio/cd from a 2002 has the radio data system. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to install a 2002 model factory radio in the 99? Thanks
 
My old 2000 montana had this feature,I think it may work but I can't guarantee it . Is the connectors on the back the same pin out ? I bet some where on the internet there is a guide ,maybe some shop that sells/repairs acdelco radios. Good luck and keep us posted.
 
From what I can tell on the internet they changed the radio styles in 2000. here is a pic of the back of one that fits a 99

It is different, I was just wondering if there is any kind of adapters. I know they make an adapter for the newer style Montana's for people to put an after market stereo
