Radio Won't Shut Off

When I turn the key off, the radio doesn't shut off when I open the driver side door. The interior light no longer comes on either when I open the door. The radio does shut off when the passenger side door opens.

the switch that is activated when you open the drivers door is not working. Typically it is part of the door latch mechanism inside the door.

Is that something that is easy to fix?

i dont know your skill level, have you ever opened up the interior door panel before on any car

Year and Model Torrent would help, I have never owned or worked on a Torrent but that info would help a lot in searching for an answer.

Probably its the door latch since everything now works off the door latch unlike older cars that had the push pin on the door frame.
A lot of people have had the same problem with their GM cars and trucks.
