Radio?

I had issues with my radio and someone took it out. The issues were the clock did not illuminate and I had sound on the right front and back speakers only ...NOTHING ON LEFT.

Upon taking it out and buying a sony we attempted to put in the unit was taken to best buy..I had the installation kit but I was told I need an ADAPTER? Is it true that this adapter could cost OVER 100 dollars??????? Something seems wrong...


Since then we put in the original radio and guess what the CLOCK and ILLUMATION now work BUT THE LEFT FRONT AND BACK SPEAKERS SO NOT...WHAT WOULD BE THE PROBLEM WITH THEM????? Where do I balance them?

FINALLY WHAT IS THE SCR OR SCV FUNCTION ON THIS RADIO???

2002 Sunfire

No it does NOT its a 2002 Sunfire and the dashboard does not look like what you have listed.

Did the person removing and reinstalling the radio cut wires and perhaps as not properly reconnected them?
Does the person doing the work have a test meter to determine if there is a signal going to the speakers.
Do you mean Speed Control Volume? It's explained in the owners manual, link below
