This is on a 2008 Pontiac Torrent. I need to know how to pull the car stereo out so that I can clean up the cd/dvd player. The player is full of dirt and dust. I am hung up on how to take the shift handle nob off. I have pulled many a car stereo and cleaned them up for a living. But for the life of me. I can't fig out how this shift nob comes off. I pored all over the nob looking for set screws, unscrewing the nob from the shaft an so on. No go.

Thanks Melsg5. That's what I need to know. Just 1 question. The video talks about the radio having an anti theft device built in. Does it have to be re-programed after I get it cleaned out?

You are reinstalling it into the same vehicle it came out of so the VIN inst changing and no reprogramming should be required.
