So the rear end clunks over certain bumps, the bin in the back removed and all. Also, when I shift the transmission from or to park or drive, there is a clunk from the rear. Where should I continue to look? The dog bones are good, and the engine doesn't appear to jump abnormally

Check all the bushings in the rear of the vehicle and the shock absorbers.

Sorry, didn't realize this forum doesn't post that for you. It's a 3.5 awd.

I put it up on ramps last night, and as the wife shifted it, the only thing that moved was the engine/ trans, so the problem must be a mount?20191104_130933.jpg

This is the lower engine mount.

If you noticed a lot of movement or separation of the rubber, the mount would be bad

The is a crack in the rubber if you look in the picture, I'm thinking replacing both bottom mounts is in order

This boot is in 2 pieces, is that supposed to be? And what is that called too replace it if it isn't? 20191104_180322.jpg

Looks like an aftermarket CV joint boot and that is the way it is made

Let me elaborate, this is the tailshaft of the versatrak. The piece of rubber on the right and the piece on the left do not appear attached to each other in that there is a gap between where they appear to meet in the picture

Also, what amount of play is excessive? The transfer case moves vertically about half an inch to 3/4 each when put in reverse and drive, inch to inch and a half total
