If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Hi, I have a late 70's, probably 1976 or77 Grand Prix that im using as a street stock on an oval track. I need to know what the stock rear end ratio is in the car. Any Ideas? Thanks for the help.

Are you just trying to find out what ratio is currently in the car? Jack up the back of the car on stands. Place a chalk mark on the drive shaft and turn a wheel, if you dont have a posi both wheels at the same time, and see how many times the drive shaft turns with one complete turn of the wheel/wheels.
