Rear seat pass thru?

I miss the trunk pass thru seat that my other (stolen!) '90 Z24 had. Nice for long skinny objects, the rear seat back would fold down to go thru to the trunk.

I wonder why they didn't make this a standard feature on the new winter car, my 1995 Grand Am 2 door GT. It's such an obvious nice thing to have for any car.

Does anybody know if another N-body car (Skylark, Achieva) has this? We do have a large Pull-A-Part here, so maybe I could swap it? Or another model year Grand Am that has this, and would it be an easy swap? I don't think it'd matter if it is a 4 door or not, but mine is a 2 door.

Thanks, he didn't say too much about it, but did say it was an RPO option that he later added to the car. That gives me hope when I next go to the salvage yard.

I did try a search before I posted this thread, but I don't get the results like I expect, so thanks Mels! I only searched this forum, guess I shoulda googled lol
