My wife's 2004 Sunfire rear defrost has stopped working. The light does not come on anymore. You can hear the switch click on and off (different tones) but nothing happens. I bought a new switch panel from the wreckers for $40 but no luck. I checked continuity across the grid, all is ok. I am only getting about 1- 1.5 volts across the the window terminals. I am getting a good ground from the passengers side rear window terminal to body ground. I have checked the heavy purple wire at the harness plug in the drivers kick panel area, not voltage at all when the button is pushed in. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
